| | Model of the car: | 3.3L/automatic | | | General comments: | I have read a number of negative reviews on this car and am rather surprised at the number of problems others had with their Intrepids (especially the air conditioning). We were ready to buy another Intrepid or a Concorde when we traded but the dealer was not willing to negotiate on the price. I myself would definitely buy another Intrepid, but the number of negative reviews speaks rather loudly. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | I thought the front seat was short on legroom (power seats compensate for this), and the factory tires were esxcessively noisy. | | | Previous car: | 1994 Chrysler New Yorker. We rented the New Yorker for a business trip and were very impressed with Chrysler's "cab forward" cars. We leased the Intrepid about two months later. |
