My car is currently in the shop for the third time this month. This time they say $500 for a new water pump and timing belt. We have paid in the last 3 years of owning this car over $8000 in repairs. New Engine, Fuel rails, thermostats, brakes,brakes, brakes, radiator, belts, belts, belts, The air conditioner is always going out. the electric locks in both front doors do not work. We average about $200 every month in repair bills. Why do we still have the car? We owe still over $3000 personal loan on a new engine and we are upside down on our car loan by about $2000. We can't afford to keep it or to sell it!!!!! | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Read above, we cannot afford the car anymore! By the end of the day our charge card will have another $500 added to it by this stupid car! | | | Previous car: | We had a 1988 Jeep Cherokee and never had any problems till it started by itself and ran into our house in 1998. We also have a 1991 GMC Vandura with hardly ever a problem. |
