Intrepid 3.3L
| | Model of the car: | Intrepid 3.3L | | | General comments: | I bought the Intrepid on impulse while looking at a convertible Pontiac. Got no warranty whatsoever with it, and paid for it outright. 4 words.....I LOVE THIS CAR!! I`ve only had a few MINOR problems, but what do you expect from a car with 120,000 miles on it. All I`ve had done is brakes, tires, and a tranny line replaced. Only other maintenance is oil changes, plugs, etc....usual upkeep. One concern is that when the weather turns cold, it won`t go into reverse or shift until it warms up. Haven`t had that problem since replacing tranny line. The car has EXCELLENT acceleration, and GREAT passing power. It handles VERY well for a large family car. I like to pretend it`s a Camaro. :) I really feel for the poor folks who have had bad experiences with their cars, but with the number of them that I see running around every day, not ALL of them are bad. Did I mention the car`s looks? STUNNING. I have no problems with the paint peeling. The panels behind the rear doors was coming loose, but a spare screw fixed that. The trunk does leak a little water through the seal. As far as interior, the car is very roomy and comfortable. I love it for long trips as well as a QUICK spin around the block. I fixed the problem of a radio with my own aftermarket window rattling, heart stopping, ear splitting, migraine causing stereo system. The controls are easy to reach and the car drives very smooth. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Really all I have for this are the small minor repairs, that mysteriously fix themselves. | | | Previous car: | 96 Grand Am, 91 Grand Am, 85 Camaro, 81 Mustang |
