Intrepid ES
| | Model of the car: | Intrepid ES | | | General comments: | This has been a great car. It has 131,000+ miles, and still going strong. Other than wrecking it twice, I haven't had to replace anything on it yet. Everyone always volunteers me to drive, because they love riding in my car. When I first bought it, there was a popping noise in the front end while turning, but it went away.
Most of the parts are reasonably priced too, except for headlights, and headlight mounts. I bought a hood, 2 fenders, bumper, headlight, turn signal, condensor, radiator, cooling fans, and a few smaller parts for about $1000. I have heard of some cars bumpers costing almost as much as that. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Door hinges all make noise.
Passenger side airbag is curling up on the edges.
It also has a lot of road noise.
The paint on plastic behind rear doors peels.
Alloy Wheels have clear coat that cracks and falls off, but it looks better without. | | | Previous car: | 1988 Bonneville, 1995 Grand Am, 1996 Dodge Intrepid, 1997 Olds Cultlas Supreme, |
