 General comments:For all you folks who haven't replaced multiple transmissions, you are lucky! Bought new. Have 125k on it. Two transmissions. Two water pumps. Fuel Rail and fuel pump. Blown head gasket (x2). Oil leaked into the #6 spark plug, will try never to pay to have this fixed as it still runs. Over five years that averages out to over $100 per month in maintenace costs. This seems extremely excessive to me. In the meantime I have owned two caravan's with no problems(traded at 70k). Just wondering, how is it I am to "properly maintain" transmission control units, water pumps and fuel system components? Get a grip on reality folks, these are weak links in the majority of intrepids. As for A

 Previous car:Ford Snorus. I can't believe anyone would spend more money on a taurus when they could buy an Intrepid, oops, when you count the maint. expense I could have bought a Mercedes.
