| | Model of the car: | Dodge Intrepid | | | General comments: | Bought this car 3 years ago and paid 15,500. When purchased, the car had 35K on it. The problems started around 40K. The car broke down on the highway twice while I owned it. First time was due to dealership, the second was never determined. It simply stopped running in the middle of a construction zone. Oxygen sensors replaced at 42K, new tires, air conditioning system failed completely, oil leaks. When I read about the fuel pump and the fires that resulted from the pump, I sold the car asap. I would advise anyone to do some research before buying this car. I eventually bought a '99 Honda Accord, a better choice. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Poor engineering.
