| | Model of the car: | Dodge Intrepid ES | | | General comments: | I have a love hate relationship with this car. I love it when it runs and is the first car that I would have ever considered keeping after I paid it off or came to lease end (this coming from a woman who always gets bored with my current ride and gets new car hungry after three years). However, the reliability of the car makes me crazy. I am in the proces of looking at new vehicles now and have fallen in love with the Chrysler 300M, however my last break down was the straw that broke the camel's back - I will NEVER buy another Dodge | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | I only have 75k on this car and have replaced three water pumps, the transmission, the O-rings (before they were recalled), rack and pinion steering (major $$$), now only 20K miles later more steering problems (bolt to rack broke - lost all steering). Having a "keystone cop" local dealership certainly doesn't help... | | | Previous car: | 92' Bonneville - Bonneville was far more reliable but not near as much fun to drive. |
