After decades of engineering feats you think you could make a product that would last a little longer. We live in a country where the Fat Cat auto makers no we suckers are going to buy what ever they produce. And their products have not gotten any more reliable. They are throw aways. Those 2000 Maximas sure look nice don't they! | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Just about everything. Evaporator went out first month. Just like every body elses. (Will one of those proper maintenance idiots please tell me how to maintain an evaportor so that it doesn't go out in 28 days?) Just like everbody else my inner tie rod bushings melted in six months. Hmm. How to maintain tie rod bushings, any ideas? Got slow coolant leak right now, can't find it. Air bag light is on. No tranny problems but I am counting the days. I'm trying to get this scrap heap on wheels paid down enough so I can get a real car. Too many other nagging problems I won't even relate. | | | Previous car: | Pontiac J-2000 82 Model had same reliability. |
