Base Intrepid
| | Model of the car: | Base Intrepid | | | General comments: | When I bought this car it had over 64,000 miles on it, considering I drive over a 112 miles a day this car did excellent! I have had to do alot of brake jobs but that is to be expected when you drive the distance that I do. (Normal maintance) I drive with two kids in the car, one in a baby seat and there is still plenty of room for another person. The sad part is I lost my car to a deer accident and now I am looking at a 1999 ES. I must say I like the ES better than the Basic model it is worth the little extra money. I have heard a lot of horror stories about these cars but I have yet to see the problems listed here. But you can always find a bad apple in any barrell. My sister-in-law had a 94 Intrepid and the car definitly paid for itself by the time she retired it. Over all I would recommend an Intrepid either a base model or the ES but if you were to ask my husband he would say R | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | I really can't say there is anything about this car that I don't like. The only major repair in 151,000 miles was the water pump. | | | Previous car: | Can not be compared!!!!! |
