Dodge Intrepid
| | Model of the car: | Dodge Intrepid | | | General comments: | Dodge sucks! Our beautiful silver Intrepid is sitting at the dealership, where it has been
for about 2 months now. The engine is gone and will cost about $4,000 to replace.
While driving the car to work one day, it started making a loud noice and it shut down. My husband had
it towed to a mechanic who later told us that the engine was gone and that he found sludge
and metal shavings in the oil. We had had an oil change two days before and yet Dodge
is telling us it happened because we didn't properly maintain the car. We took excellent care of
the car! Nothing like trying to pass the buck.
Our car looks like brand new and only has 40,000 miles on it.
I have heard that there is a class action suit against Dodge due to premature engine failure
due to sludge. Has anyone heard about that? | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Doesn't run! |
