My windows go off track ($500 to fix), CD player stop working, driver power seat failed within first 10k miles ... and continues to give me issues from time to time, rack & pinion replacement @ 40K miles, 2.7 V6 engine REPLACED (out of pocket) summer 2001 with approx 50k miles ... here it is January 2003 and guess what ... I need a new engine again!!!! Yes, I changed the oil faithfully, yes, I maintained the care faithfully and still, a rod (or something like that) has screwed up again (same issue as the first time I changed the engine). i refuse to spend another $4500 ... anyone want a pristine conditioned (body & interior) '99 Intrepid? you have to know when to cut your losses. It hurts because I love my car ... but it has to go. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | ANY MOVING PART! |
