| | Model of the car: | Dodge Intrepid | | | General comments: | The 1999 Dodge Intrepid was a great car for me to drive. I could stretch my legs out in there while I was driving. The sound was decent. My back wouldn't hurt after making an 8 hour drive up and down california. The one thing that made it fun to drive though, was the engine. The car would accelerate, but you didn't think you would be picking up speed so fast unless you checked out the spedometer. Granted the 0-60 aint nothing spectacular. But for a average user or a full size car, its great.The main reason for me wanting to post this was the fact I was in an accident the other day where I was in the Dodge Intrepid. The other car was going about 50, and I was going about 20. He hit me head on and threw the car accross the intersection. My passanger and I only had a couple bruises. The only problem was no one told us when airbags explode, it looks like the cabin is full of smoke and it smells like something is burning. My passanger and I took off running. Anyways, the car handled head on collisions fine.
