| | Model of the car: | Dodge Intrepid | | | General comments: | We love the car, the looks, and the room. However, we could not recommend the reliability or cost efficiency. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Electrical problems with windows and door locks. Dome lights come on by themselves at times. Heat stuck when airconditioner was on. Transmission out at 35,000 miles. We have been told that it is a sensor, not sure if transmission will follow. Have been told by a number of people that they have had the same sensor problem with the 1999 Intrepid. It is still in the shop going on two weeks. | | | Previous car: | We have a 1990 Nissan Sentra with over 160,000 miles. Never a problem.Shakes a little at 60 miles an hour and has outlasted two Intrepids. |
