Intrepid ES
| | Model of the car: | Intrepid ES | | | General comments: | I don't know if I feel better or worse after reading these reviews. I'm obviously in good company, so many of us having similar problems. But I feel pretty stupid that Dodge suckered us all. It's evident they knew about these problems, but of course nothing was mentioned. Aside from the misery of having one thing after another go wrong with the car is the attitude we get from the dealer: gosh, gee, don't know what's wrong, no codes on our diagnostic equipment, can't figure out what to do, that'll be $50. While I have managed to put 80,000 on the car, it hasn't been easy! Yes, like most of you, I love the styling, and when it runs, it's fun to drive. But that's the problem, it doesn't run as often as it should. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Everything else. First week after purchase something went wrong with the driver's seatbelt. They provided me with a rental for a week. Don't park this car in the sun if it's over 70 degrees, it won't start if you do. Not until it gets dark and cools off, even if that's 10 hours later. Car would start | | | Previous car: | No other Dodges in my history or my future. In fact, I'll be buying imports from here on out. Even my 65 Sunbeam wasn't this much trouble! |
