| | Model of the car: | Dodge Intrepid | | | General comments: | The styling and roominess of my dodge intrepid is all that i could ask for, but my happiness ends there. the car was bought new and only has 45,000 miles on it. At 37,000 miles, i began experiencing a knocking noise coming from the engine. i took it to the dealer and after 2 weeks, they couldn't figure out the problem. after about 2 more weeks, they figured out that the computer was malfunctioning and causing the engine to idle too low. it also wasn't sending the diagnostic code and that is why they couldn't figure out the problem. other problems include warped rotors, 2 sets of brakes, drivers side window sticks, anti freeze leak, a | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | brakes, poor construction and materials, terrible dealer experiences complaints seem to be common across the board | | | Previous car: | ford escort - ran the car to 80,000 miles, only repair made was a brake job once. |
