Dodge Intrepid
| | Model of the car: | Dodge Intrepid | | | General comments: | My wife drives this car. We put very low miles on it, only 38K so far. I have had several interior problems. The dash board has a 3 inch crack just above the glove box already. It is a black dash & we live in a hot climate. I do garage the vehicle though. The window controller has broken off. No engine problems. I found this site because I am searching for new struts. Last night I noticed that the rear struts are leaking oil on the garage floor. They are about $100 each. I am very meticulous & spend a lot of money on oil changes, etc. So if my engine has the same problems I have read here then I will be completely convinced that the engineering is flawed. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Struts should last at least 70K, mine are gone at 38K. Dash is not very resitant to heat damage, its cracking. | | | Previous car: | I have bought over 10 brand new cars. This is my first used car from Thrifty Rental Sales. It was a low cost car for the wife to drive the kids around in. The plate is "DODOWGN", that means Doo Doo Wagon. The back seat is full of McDonalds french fries an |
