| | Model of the car: | Intrepid | | | General comments: | Purchased this car with 48,000 miles. Car ran great.Purchased a warranty,just in case. Had road noise,thought it was just tires,so I put new tires on. Still had road noise.Had some brake work done a couple of times,had to take it back because of a grinding noise in the brakes.
Then the crank sensor, and the cam sensor both went out at the same time.This was covered under the warranty. Now with 77,000 miles,the motor is locked up.(2.7)
Sludge build up in the engine.Car dealership said maintenance neglect,I say
BULL.The dealership said warranty wont cover it, but he priced me a new engine for $8,500.00. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | brakes
