| | Model of the car: | Dodge Intrepid | | | General comments: | First of all I would like to say I have always liked the looks of the Intrepid. I've had 3 friends that own one and love it. I usually lease and I decided I would buy this time because I want to keep the car for several years. I read Consumers Reports and they recommend the Intrepid so I test drove one and liked it so I bought it. Well I bought it on December 27th and so far the things I don't like are my door squeaks when I open it, I don't like the cab forward design of the hood because I can't see it and that makes it hard to park, the 12 volt plug for my cell phone is too close to the shifter, my tires always look flat, its hard to get in and out because of the design of the doors, cd player skips, engine makes funny noise when I first take off, etc..... The worst thing is my check engine light came on last week and I took it to the dealer and of course they said nothing is wrong with it. Well yesterday the light went back on again and I'm taking the car in again tomorrow. I know several people who have had check engine lights come on and they told me once they come on it will probably be an ongoing problem. I sure hope not. After reading these reviews I'm really nervous that my car is going to be a Lemon.
