| | Model of the car: | Dodge Intrepid | | | General comments: | I waited several years to purchase an Intrepid having been put off by the bad reviews i read here and elsewhere.It rides great,with a nice combination of road handling and comfort.Overall quality seems to really be lacking however.Fit and finish are not up to standard.Many interior pieces have noticeable gaps.Driver's position is good,but not as much leg room as you would expect for a full size car.Constantly have a piece of foam insulation in door jam pulling out.Dealer said nothing can be done.Rubber molding came out of door jam twice.Pooped it back in both times but just reveals more poor quality.Front right headlamp replaced after it condensed up and would not dissipate. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Noisy engine,wind noise,underpowered engine,trunk too deep to reach things.Overall quality poor.Difficult to get into driver's seat..like getting into a camaro..not a full size sedan.Stunning depreciation...my car after only 7 months has depreciated over 35%!!!!!!!OUCH!!!! | | | Previous car: | Ford Tarus. |
